Place of pilgrimage for Christians and Muslims, this house was officially sanctified by the Vatican, and every year, on August 15, the Christians hold a commemoration ceremony.

Coming down from the hill of Ayasuluk (Apasas),are the first settlements of Ephesus where the İsa Bey mosque is located.

            The Mosque is composed of three religious structures of different faiths, located in the same triangle. Going a little further, there is a very small street and right next to it, is the Temple of Artemis.             The terrace house is located inside Ephesus and situated on the slope, facing the temple of Hadrian. On the slope, in this direction of the mountain there are thousands of houses on the slope. On each plot Two or three storey houses are located. one opened to the east and one to the west. House planning is peristyle. the houses were advanced architecturally and technologically compared to others in that period also the walls of the houses are frescoed and the floor is covered with beautiful mosaics.
